Springhouse Tack Shop is a family owned and operated retail store, celebrating over 44 years of business. Springhouse Tack Shop started in 1966 when Carlita Reed began to sell English Tack and apparel in her small springhouse. Over the years the need to expand became apparent and so Mrs. Reed began to sell both English and Western supplies in 1987. In both 1976 and 1987, they expanded again moving into their barn and adding a second floor. This is where Springhouse Tack Shop is still found today.

Employees with equestrian experience play an important role in serving our customers. Carlita's son has actively competed on a national level in eventing, western riding and is a graduate A Pony Clubber. Other employees with experience are ready to answer questions and help get you ready to ride and care for your horse!
